Khutbat Ubqari Volume II

An elder said that in our neighborhood there lived a large watchmaker. The ups and downs of time began to affect his business, so it continued to decline. Every morning, he began to be surrounded by poverty and hardship. He tried many things, but there was no relief. An acquaintance said, "Do this and become a Pir by putting a large rosary around your neck. After that, gifts, offerings and thanks will start coming, due to which you will become prosperous in a short time."

Dear readers! In fact, he did so, and despite adopting this style for a long time, prosperity eluded him. Then someone asked him to become a hakim. Suddenly, this Pir appeared as a renowned physician, so this effort was also in vain. Then someone suggested opening the market for amulets, and amulets. 

Then this Pir Sahib with these titles appeared overnight as Sayyid Zadeh, but this effort was also not effective and beneficial. Finally, exhausted, he went to this elder and said, "Hazrat, I did not understand anything...! I also did the same work that you do; your situation is that your honour and fame have reached the heights of the highest and have spread throughout the four corners of the world, and this work could not benefit me.

 This elder made him sit down and explain, brother...! The fact is that the difference between my and your passion is that I first became a disciple; that is, I was tormented in the mill of tests and trials, and then I became a teacher. My eyes are on the hearts of people, and your eyes are on the pockets of people. I have fallen in my own eyes and reached this point, and you want to become great with your greatness...!!
