Respect for Father, Islam and the Modern Science

The status that Islam has given to parents is not found in any other religion. Even looking at them with love brings the reward of Hajj and Umrah, but in today's era, children do not value their elderly parents and sometimes even throw them out of their homes. 

Serving parents is a reason for entering Paradise, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that whoever finds his parents in old age and does not serve them is at a loss. 

Despite modern science, mental and psychological diseases have increased, and the lack of love in families is draining the blessings, which results in loneliness, depression and rebellion.

Many saints and Sufis have declared serving parents as the secret of their success. There are numerous hadiths about the rights of parents, which show that Allah Almighty has bestowed great blessings on them. 

On the Day of Judgment, those fathers who have raised their children well will have their faces shining, while disobedient children will suffer losses.
 
The Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasized love for children and their upbringing and also instructed parents to avoid backbiting and injustice in front of their children. It is important to read the book to know the details about treating parents well and raising children properly.
