Mother's Sanctity Islam and Modern Civilization

Mother is such a beautiful and sacred relationship whose love and greatness know no bounds. Mother's love never diminishes but rather grows more with time. She is the one whose status Allah Almighty has elevated in His Book, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also prioritized the respect of the mother three times over that of the father. Serving parents, especially the mother, has been declared a source of success in religion and the world. 

Unfortunately, in today's era, many people do not value their mothers, and some societies leave their parents alone in old homes, which is a sad reality. However, the mother is the one who makes every sacrifice for her children and always prays for their success.

In the hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the rights of the mother have been declared more important than Hajj. Many elders and Sufis attributed their success to serving the mother. The lives of great scholars and saints like Imam Shafi'i (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Bayazid Bastami (may Allah be pleased with him) are witnesses to the fact that the mother's pleasure gives a person a high position in this world and the hereafter. 

Disobedience to parents has been declared a grave sin in the Quran and Hadith, and the effectiveness of parents' prayers is mentioned in many historical events. We should recognize the rights of mothers, serve them, and avoid their displeasure because their bad prayers can lead to losses in this world and the hereafter.
