My Murshid Hazrat Khwaja Syed Muhammad Abdullah Hajveri (may Allah have mercy on him), who was from the special family of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (may Allah have mercy on him), once said to me, "Tariq! Let me give you a gift." I said, "O Hazrat, please give it to me."

He said, "The effect of Surah Al-Baqarah is that if a woman, after knowing that she is pregnant, recites Surah Al-Baqarah once every month for the first seven days of every month and continues this action for nine months, then, God willing, she will have a son."

 Hazrat (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "I have been telling people this for the past 45 years, and I received this from a dervish." Then he said, "Hazrat Khwaja Owais Qarni (may Allah have mercy on him) gave me this wazaifa in a dream and said, "This is permissible for you."
