Barkat Shab E Barat (Kitabcha)

My mentor, Hazrat Khwaja Syed Muhammad Abdullah Hajveri (RA), used to say that the night of Shab-e-Barat is the night of presenting all the deeds of the previous year to Allah and accounting for the life and sustenance received in the coming year.

 Therefore, one should be engaged in worshipping Allah on this night and, with a humble heart, should resolve not to commit any sins in the future life. And one should not spend even a moment of this night in heedlessness.!

I also request all my friends and relatives to cherish every moment of this sacred night, for we may not be blessed with it the next night...!

Note:

It is not necessary to stay awake the whole night on Shab-e-Barat. Worship as comfortably as possible, but remember that your wakefulness should inconvenience no one and that the Fajr prayer should not be missed.
