100 Auliyaullah k Mushkil Kusha Wazaif

Once, Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) was sitting in a mosque when a man came and asked him whether his lectures worked in the city outside the city or in the forest as well.

 Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) asked him to explain this question. He said that there were few men gathered in the forest. They were busy drinking and dancing. Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) covered his face and headed towards the forest.

When he got close to those people, they were still busy drinking and dancing. When these people saw him, they tried to run away. Then Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) called them, asking them not to run, and told them that he also liked drinking. Please give me some alcohol as I could not have it in the city. Then these people stopped, and one of them replied that the alcohol had finished and if he (Hazrat Junaid ) liked it, then they could bring it from the city.

Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) smiled and asked if there was any possibility the alcohol may bring here by itself. Those surprised people agreed. Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) asked them to get purified. Those people got a bath, wore clean clothes, and got to him. Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) asked them to offer two rakat salat.

When they started praying, Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA) raised his hands and started begging Almighty Allah, “Oh Allah, this was my duty to bring them in front of you, which I did, now it’s up to You, whether you guide them or keep them in the dark”. His pray accepted as Allah Almighty granted those people with guidance.
